Minnehaha County Dems sending 23 proportional delegates to Oacoma June 14-15

I WANT TO BE A DELEGATE! WHAT DO I NEED TO KNOW?
Any registered Minnehaha County Democrat who completes the online Minnehaha County Delegate Selection Form by 12pm CT (Noon) on Wednesday, May 22 will be considered eligible as a candidate for state convention delegate.
Delegate candidates must be present* for the meeting of the Minnehaha County Democratic Party held at 7pm CT via Zoom on Wednesday, May 22.
*Unless you are serving as a poll worker and/or submit a rationale to the County Party that would prevent you from attending.
WHO ELECTS OUR DELEGATES?
Per the South Dakota Democratic Party constitution, our proportional delegate contingent will be selected by a vote of current precinct committeepersons, who were either
elected at publicized district-level elections between January 1 and April 1 of this year, or
appointed by the County Central Committee as of its May 6, 2024 meeting
Precinct committee people are elected in even-numbered years to serve two-year terms.
